On arrival at Gongar airport, your guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel in Lhasa city. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Yarlung Zangbo River. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Lhasa
Visit The Potala Palace, The Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street.
- The Potala Palace: The Potala Palace, which is now on the list of Chinese national key protected cultural relics, is the most valuable storehouse in Tibet. It is a huge treasure house for materials and articles of Tibetan history, religion, culture and arts. The Palace is widely known for the precious sculptures, murals, scripture, Buddha figures, murals, antiques, and religious jewelry treasured up, they are of great cultural and artistic value. In 1994, the Potala Palace was declared the United Nations World Cultural Heritage site.
Perched upon the Marpo Ri Hill, 130 meters above the Lhasa valley, it is the greatest monumental structure in Tibet.
- The Jokhang Temple: Located in the center of old Lhasa cityˇ°No one will go to Tibet without visiting the Jokhang Monastery.ˇ± The famous Lama Nimaciren of the Jokhang Monastery saidŁ¬and each tourist will agree with his remarks.
- Bark Street: The Bark is the oldest street in Lhasa as well as the center of old Lhasa and remains very traditional. It is a place where Tibetan culture, economy, religion and arts are assembled.

Visit Sera Monastery, The Carpet Factory, Dreprung Monastery, Norbulingka.
- Sera Monastery: It is known as one of the three greatest monasteries of Tibet.As one of the three main monasteries of Lhasa, it is here that the monks ˇ°famous daily debatesˇ± take place.
- The Carpet Factory: The highland of Tibet is the actual home of the oriental carpets. By visiting Carpet Factory you will have a general idea how carpets are produced.
- Dreprung Monastery: It is one of the biggest monasteries in Tibet.
- Norbulingka: Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden". It was constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama and later served the whole governmental administration.

Lhasa To Shigatse
Drive to Shigatse via Gyangtse. On the way, you will a option of visiting the Yomdrok Lake and The Palgor Chorten.
- Yomdrok Lake: Within Langkamu county, with an area of 638 square km and a coastal line of 250 km.It lies within the boundary of Nankartse county, on the north bank of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, Lhokha Prefecture, surrounded by mountains. Beautiful Holy lake which everybody is looking forward to.
- The Palgor Chorten : It is with 9 stories, 108 doors and 77 rooms. Each room contains a different statue of Buddha and the wall frescoes telling the story about it

Shigatse To Lhasa
Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery in the morning, then drive back to Lhasa City.
- Tashilhunpo Monastery: Painted in red and white, the buildings in the monastery stand closely together in terraced rows, offering a grand and majestic view.Tashilunpo Monastery represents the Tibetan super architecture art in the Last Tibetan spirit. The monastery attracts thousands of Buddhists and tourists from domestic and abroad to travel and worship every year.

Lhasa To Overnight train

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the railway station to catch the train from Lhasa to Lanzhou. When the newly-built train take you running on the vast piece of land, when the lakes sprinkles to you and glaciers smiles in the distance, you will know that should be the highlights of your tour. Between the section of Lhasa and Golmud, there are nine sightseeing platforms designed to give passengers the opportunity to view the plateau landscape. There are Yambajan, Dangxiong, Nakchu,Amdo Cuona Lake, Mt.Danggula,Tuotuo River, Chuma'er River, Mt.Kunlun and Yuzhong Peak. Each one allows 30-50 minutes to take photos and view the beautiful scenery.
Day 7
Overnight train To Lanzhou
At around 3:45pm, you will arrive Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu Province, which is also an important point of the Ancient Silk Road. You can take flight and train to many other cities in China. Transfer service and city packages can be arranged on your request. A silk road tour is recommended if time permit.
