Three Natural Bridges

Seven huge natural dolines lie twenty kilometers southeast of Wulong County on the eastern banks of the Wujiang River. One of the dolines, over 300 meters deep, has three cave holes near its bottom, each acting as the arch of a natural bridge. The three bridges, Tianlong, Heilong and Qinglong, are 1 kilometer, 54 meter and 20 meters long, respectively. The distances between the three are no more than several hundred meters. The bridges are on average 200 meters in elevation, over 100 meters wide, and spanning more than 500 meters. Streams flowing out of the three cave holes form waterfalls. The place is covered with lush green vegetation, vines and interlacing stalactites, and the echoes of streams and waterfalls resound through the valley. The other six dolines are all over 150 meters in both depth and diameter. Their mouths vary in shape, including cross, spindle and dustpan shaped. The Shiyuan Doline, with total area of 300,000 square meters or more, has the longest diameter among the world's dolines.
