Bandengwu (Stool Dance)

The popular dance of the Miao people in Huangping, Shibin, Weng'an and Zhenfeng counties. During the performance the dancers hold the small stools and clap them to produce the unanimous sound for accompanying their dancing, and the postures of this dance are very bold and lively. Usually the stool dance is to be performed at the banquet to liven the things up.
