A grandest horse race festival observed by the Yi people, living where Yanchang of Weining County and Maguzheng of Hezang County are joined, on every fifth day of the fifth lunar month, and attended by over thirty thousand people of both sexes, young or old, in new clothes with all kinds of rich and varied ethnic traditional activities.
