Amaiqituowu (Amaiqituo Dance)

A traditional dance popular among the Yi people in Dashan township of Xingren County and Sanbao township of Qinglong County in southwest Guizhou Province. The dance is performed on the wedding day hinting the bride to respect the old, cherish the young and esteem and love her husband in the bridegroom's family. The (lancers simultaneously step on the ground exquisitely and strongly. It is praised as the Oriental Step Dance.
