The Costumes, Customs of  The Kazak

The Kazak are mostly found in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with a small number living in Qinghai and Gansu provinces. Traditionally nomadic herders, they are also one of the ten Muslim ethnic groups in China.

The Kazaks are a cheerful people, honest and straightforward in temperament, and extremely hospitable. Their traditional costumes have a distinctive pastoral flavor.
