Day 1 ( )Arrive / Beijing
Arrive at Beijing. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2 (B, L, )Beijing
Full day trip to the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace. Enjoy the Peking Opera Show in the evening.
- The Tian'anmen Square: The largest city square in the world.
- The Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.
- The Temple of Heaven: The place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation.
- The Summer Palace: The largest and best-preserved royal garden in China with a history of over 800 years.
Day 3 (B, L, D )Beijing
Full day trip to the Great Wall and Ming Tomb and Sacred road. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.
- The Great Wall: One of the seven wonders in the world and the symble of China.
- The Ding Tomb: The only underground tomb of the thirteen tombs of the emperors in the Ming Dynasty.
- The Sacred Road: The way guarded on both sides with stone statues by which the ancient emperors went to hold a memorial ceremony for the ancestors.
Day 4 (B, L, )Beijing / Xian
Transfer via: flight
Visit the Hutongs by rickshaw. Take afternoon flight to Xian. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Feel free at leisure for the rest of the day.
- Hutongs: The old narrow paths where common people lived. All the Hutongs crisscross with each other, dotted with the Kingdergarten, the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Tea House, the lake, House of Gong Infante and local people's houses among them.
Day 5 (B, L, )Xian
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, the Bell Tower and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty show in the evening.
- The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses: The greatest archaeological findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb.
- The Bell Tower: The emblem of Xian city.
- The Wild Goose Pagoda: The pagoda where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India.
- The Tang Dynasty show: The show that presents the palace dances and songs in the Tang Dynasty when Xian was the capital.
Day 6 (B, L, )Xian / Dunhuang
Transfer via: flight
Visit the Provincial Museum, the Ancient City Wall and the Hanyang Tomb. Take afternoon flight to Dunhuang. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Feel free at leisure for the rest of the day.
- The Provincial Museum: One of the main museums in China which holds numerous unearthed cultural relics of China.
- The Ancient City Wall: An extension of the old Tang Dynasty structure boasting the most complete city wall that survives through Chinese long history.
- The Hanyang Tomb: The Jing Emperor's tomb in Han Dynasty which was opened in 2001 and is famous for its rich collections of different kinds of tombs.
Day 7 (B, L, )Dunhuang
Visit the Yumen Guan Pass,the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty(about 2000 years ago), the Hecang Fortress and the Yang Guan Pass.
- The Yumen Guan Pass: Once as one of the west gates out of the country of the Han Dynasty (206 B. C. -220 A. D.), it is quite ruined by the shifting sands but still shows the ever splendor.
- The Great Wall of the Han Dynasty: Though made in clay and bulrushes, the wall still remains very well.
- The Hecang Fortress: Supplies like food and wine were transported here from nearby towns to be stored for the armies that guarded the Yumen Guan Pass.
- The Yang Guan Pass: Together with the Yunmen Guan Gate, it is also one of the west gates out of the country of the Han Dynasty.
Day 8 (B, L, )Dunhuang
Visit the Mogao Caves and the Folk-custom Museum and the Crescent Lake.
- The Mogao Caves: Constructed over a millennium, from the 4th to the 14th centuries, the caves hold the world's richest treasure house of Buddhist sutras, murals and sculptures.
- The Folk-custom Museum: Constructed in the traditionally local castle-style capable of preventing the attack of thieves, bandits, wind and sand, the museum holds collections of cultural life and residential construction of Dunhuang.
- The Crescent Lake: The lake and the Sounding Sand Dune which can make sounds when the wind passes are located in the place where the sand and the oasis meet.
Day 9 (B, )Dunhuang / Beijing
Transfer via: flight
Be transferred to the airport for the flight to Beijing. Arrive in Beijing, be met and transferred to the hotel.
Day 10 (B, )Beijing / Exit
Be transferred to the airport for the flight back home.
