Day 1 ( ) Arrive / Kunming
Transfer via: Flight-can be arranged by us, however is not included in this quotation
Arrive at Kunming. Be met & transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 (B, L, )Kunming / Lijiang Transfer via: Flight-on our arrangement
Full day visit:kunming/Lijiang, Yufeng Monastery, Baisha Fresco, Naxi Village, Longquan Village, Old Town Lijiang and Black Dragon Pond Park with Museum of Dongba Culture.
Fly to Lijiang in the early morning.
- The Yufeng Temple: built in the Qing Dynasty and famous for camellias in the temple.
- The Baisha Mural: With the introduction of the Buddhism, people painted plenty of murals on the walls of temples in the Ming Dynasty.
- Naxi Village: Practise Naxi Ancient Music, study the cooking such as buttered tea and Lijiang Pizza.
- The Longquan Village: In the village live the Naxi Minority people.
- The Lijiang ancient town: The town was built in the late song dynasty and the early Yuan dynasty and was listed by the UNESCO on the list of the world's major cultural heritages in 1997..
- The Black Dragon Pool:The park holds the Black Dragon Pool and got name because of it. The pool is listed in the Collections of Famous Pools of China because of its beauty.
- Dongba Museum: sanctuary of the culture of Naxi ancient culture.
Day 3 (B, L, )Lijiang / Hetaoyuan
Full day trek:lijiang/Qiaotou, trekking through the Tiger Leaping Gorge of Yangtze River to Walnut Grove Village. Overnight at local guesthouse in Walnut Grove Village.
-Drive to Qiaotou.
-Trek 17KM to Walnut Grove Village.
Day 4 (B, L, )Hetaoyuan / Daju Full day trek:Walnut Grove Village/Daju.
Overnight at local Guest House.
-Trek 17KM to Daju.
Day 5 (B, L, )Daju / Haba Full day trek:Daju/Haba.
Overnight at local guesthouse.
-Trek 25KM to Haba Village on the Haba Snow mountain.
Day 6 (B, L, )Haba / Baishuitai Full day trek:Haba/Baishuitai.
Overnight at Dongba Culture Guesthouse.
Trek 20KM to Baishuitai.
- Baishuitai:The birthplace of Naxi Minority and their culture-Dongba, a wonder of water and limestone.
Day 7 (B, L, )Baishuitai / Zhongdian
Full day visit:Baishuitai, Naxi Village, Baishuitai/Zhongdian and Bita Lake.
- Naxi Village: Practise Naxi Ancient Music, study the cooking such as buttered tea and Lijiang Pizza.
- Bita Lake: With abundant fish resources, it lies in the heart of the nature preserve surrounded by mountains covered with ancient pines, oaks and rhododendron.
Day 8 (B, L, )Zhongdian
Full day visit of Sontselong Monastery, Tibetan Hospital, local Museum of Tibetan, Tibetan Family and Dinner and Dance with the Family.
- The Sontselong Lamasery: The most important Lamasery of Tibetan Buddhism in Yunnan province.
- Zhongdian - The area the beautiful"Shangri-la" describe in The Lost Horizon in James Hilton's novel.
- Tibetan familial visit: you may be welcomed by the Tibetan Tea, snacks.
Day 9 (B, L, )Zhongdian / Kunming
Transfer via: Flight-on our arrangement
Full day visit:Zhongdian/Kunming, Stone Forest.
Fly back to Kunming in the morning.
- Stone Forest: 90km south of Kunming. Due to a process of weathering and erosion, nature has created an art gallery of stone sculpture here.
Day 10 (B, L, )Kunming / Departure
Transfer via: Flight-can be arranged by us, however is not included in this quotation
Full day visit of Western Hills with Dragon Gate.
Be transferred to the airport for your next destination.
- The West Hill and Dragon Gate:The natural forest park in Kunming. The carvings on the cliff was made in 1751.
