Wisteria
Wisteria
Wisteria branches cross each other like plum branches. The difference is that wisteria branches are in curved lines instead of straight lines.
When the branches are done, add flowers with purple colour. Use wet strokes to set off the tactile value of the flower petals.
Add leaves. The leaves are in warm green colour -- add some ochre to herbal green. Before you put the brush onto the paper, pick up a little rouge on the tip.
The purple used to depict the flower is gained by mixing indigo or phthalocynine blue or azurite with rouge and white. The purple may have a red or blue tinge.
