| The mystical and fascinating land of snow attracts the people with its blue skies, lofty snow-covered mountains, vast grassland, whistling rivers and surging lakes... and the sunlight less forest area of the Southeast Tibet is intertwined with gorges and green forest and grass while being decorated with waterfalls and flying clouds.
The character of Tibetan people has been nurtured while people's temperament on the plateau has been molded by the shape, line and color of the natural environment.
The cultural soul of the Tibetan people is originated from their religious beliefs, emotion, ideals and the living customs while the peculiar individuality of the people on the plateau was molded by the human and natural environments. In the hearts of Tibetan people their adoration of magnificent mountains and river, their cherishment of life on paradise, their pursuit for the beautiful spirits of Tibetan Buddhism as well as their respect of graceful environment, their looking for fine and tranquil life and their longing for happy life in Buddhist tales,
have forged their aesthetic and cultural feelings. Tibet is a graceful land full of grandeur. Located at a natural and human environment of vast and mystical land, the Tibetan dwelling was not only the manifestation of a lofty and magnificent formation freeing from vulgarity.
But also an expression of romantic, elegant and clean shape in terms of its modeling. The watchtowers and rammed earth houses dispersed over the cities and towns, mountains villas and villages attracted people with their stocky, simple and vigorous structure and distinctive and unadorned colors beaming with dignified and lofty grandeur.
The wood and bamboo houses nestling among the forest and bamboo seas have presented the graceful and tranquil scene and easy life with their light and elegant modeling and beautiful colors similar to those of the environment. The terraced fields beside the village, the sounds of singing in the village, the fragrance of wine present us a graceful living landscape with beautiful mountains and rivers.

l finally returned my beloved homeland,
As I hate to part with the wine fragrance;
I shall never part with the Menyu wood houses,
Because I grudge to give up my wine cup?
