Wuyuan Village

Wuyuan Village, in Jiangxi Province, stands against beautiful mountains and has a river running through it. It also has hundreds of ancient houses dating from the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, well laid out and displaying simple architectural tradition. The original shape of the village is well preserved, an accurate and complete reflection of its historical development. Spring is the most beautiful time in Wuyuan, when rape in front of the village comes into flower. The vast sea of golden rape, the white walls and black tiles create a lyrical picture of dazzling beauty.
